League One Results 26th January Part 2

Stockport County 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion
Owain fon Williams looked on course for his second consecutive clean sheet for Stockport as they got their first win for God knows how long. But it wasn’t to be and it was all Andrew Crofts’ fault. The Brighton’s 90th minute equaliser ensured that while Stockport kept their unbeaten run going, they were denied a win.

Tranmere Rovers 2-1 Yeovil Town
Ash Taylor put Tranmere 2-0 up as they edged further towards 20th place. Tranmere are now just three points outside the relegation zone so maybe an escape is possible after all. And if they hadn’t conceded a last-minute penalty, they could have ended with a clean sheet as well. Nathan Jones and Shaun MacDonald both played the full match for Yeovil.

Walsall 1-2 Norwich City
Walsall took the lead in the 35th minute but their enforced winter break doesn’t seem to have done them any favours and they ended up losing to Norwich, who are after all top of the league. Rhys Weston was back from injury and he and Mark Bradley both played the full match. None of Norwich’s Welsh players made it into the squad.
