Walsall 1-2 Brighton & Hove Albion
Walsall’s first match for a month didn’t end with a win but they were without the injured Rhys Weston who was expected to play after a calf injury but didn’t make it in the end. Mark Bradley was substituted so I hope he isn’t injured too. Brighton captain Andrew Crofts nearly scored but as it turned out his goal wasn’t needed.

Wycombe Wanderers 1-2 Charlton Athletic
Grant Basey is suffering from a groin in strain but he played anyway and ended up on the winning side. He was one of many Welsh players who probably should have got an assist.
