League Two Fixtures 30th January Part 1

Cheltenham Town v Darlington
Cheltenham probably aren’t seriously worried about going down, not with Darlington and Grimsby in the same League as them. But this is a game they definitely need to win. Josh Low and David Pipe will probably both be in Cheltenham’s midfield. Cheltenham manager Mark Yates has discussed with possibility of extending David’s loan with the club’s chairman.

Crewe Alexandra v Bournemouth
Bournemouth have signed Norwich’s Rhoys Wiggins on a 28-day emergency loan – he must have recovered from his knee injury then! Rhoys spent six months on loan at Bournemouth last season so most of the squad will know him already. But Bournemouth still only have 13 fit professional players available. Joe Partington is out with a back injury.

Lincoln City v Dagenham & Redbridge

Lincoln have a very long injury list so maybe they regret sending Anthony Pulis back to Southampton. Or maybe not, he doesn’t seem to have been that popular. So Dag & Red’s goalkeeper Tony Roberts could get another clean sheet.

Morecambe v Chesterfield
Darren Moss will be on the home bench while Mark Crossley will probably be on the away one but Chesterfield’s Robert Page could get a game. Mark thinks that Chesterfield still have a chance of making the play-offs. As they’re only one point outside the play-offs at the moment (albeit having played more games than the teams immediately above them) I can only agree.
